My research lies in the field of institutional economics and international business, involving around:

· Comparative research on national legal systems, business models, and corporate governance practices.

· Impacts of laws, political institutions, and other socioeconomic factors on financial market development and economic growth.

· Interaction among key social agents and institutional evolution.

· Situating competitive pressure from market liberalisation into the unique political-cultural settings of emerging economies.
